Community Partners form Washington Families Standing Together to tackle Referendum 71

"So many people have asked how they can help, that we have formed a coordinated campaign to help keep the law from being repealed. It's called Washington Families Standing Together – a coalition of community partners committed to working together to protect Washington's families."

Referendum 71 threatens Washingtonian's Domestic Partnership Law

No sooner had Governor Gregoire signed the final installments of recognizing the rights and priviledges of our state's Domestic Partners and their families, the oppression against it began with the filing of Referendum 71. If our rights are put to a vote, and we lose them, then Washington families will fall behind those in California, even after the passage and upholding of Proposition 8.
