ADVOCACY WORKSHOPS

9:00am – Sign In (Coffee and morning snacks)

9:30am – Advocacy Workshops

11:15am – March to the Rally

Come early to the Rally and learn how to ask your legislators to support legislation which prohibits discrimination based upon sexual orientation.  Representatives of Equal Rights Washington and the Religious Coalition for Equality will discuss the message we want to convey and provide key talking points.  Plus legislators and experienced lobbyist will provide helpful tips about how to approach your legislators and how to explain to them the reasons to support our issues.

During the workshop you will have an opportunity to meet people from around the state and from your own legislative district as we prepare to march on the Capitol in support of anti-discrimination legislation and marriage equality.
